FACILITIES: Located in a 100-acre setting of oaks and pines only an hour's drive from the New Orleans Fairgrounds and Louis Armstrong International Airport, Elite Thoroughbreds offers a refuge for horses from the everyday stress of the racetrack.  Our facilities include a 1/2 mile racetrack, a 4 stall starting gate, a 60 ft. Euroexerciser Gaitmaster, a 60 ft round breaking pen, a swimming pond and numerous paddocks as well as 4 large barns complete with extra large stalls for foaling (72 stalls total).  Horses are turned out daily unless instructed otherwise.  Our staff will attend to your horse's every need during its stay on our grounds.  Twenty-four hour security is provided.  Elite's manager, Enrique Mendez, lives on the farm to ensure each horse gets the individual attention necessary for real results.
